Marcello meets an angel

 

 In this short, three minute cinematic gem, Fellini presents a key scene from the film that ties directly to the final scene.

 

Marcello Mastroianni hangs up the phone in a bad mood after arguing with his girlfriend, immediately afterwards, through the catalyst of goodness and purity that the girl represents in this film, Marcello gradually sheds that gloomy and decadent Rome through which he passes throughout  the film due to his profession as a pink journalist. 

Finally, the transformation has occurred and this blond angel inadvertently causes Marcello to get up again to call his girlfriend to make peace.

If you don't have discipline you don't have anything.

I was talented but I didn't find that I was talented until I was disciplined. if I wasn't disciplined enough to train,  I would have never seen my talent.

You have to get to discover anything about who you are as an individual, your spirit , your soul , what are you made of.  without discipline,  you can't even discover it.

So discipline is a key to discovering. Discipline teaches you all about yourself, teaches you what you really have.
